       I am happy to be here. I have had a few mastodon accounts in the past and never really had one stick. With the mass exodus from Twitter, I picked twit.social because I think it will fair better than the larger instances and I think the people here are much more pleasant than the usual twitter users. Been here since before Twit was Twit. (Attack of the Screen Savers, TechTV, ZDTV..) Very happy to be home...

       @leo Would you consider not capping out new members of Club Twit after we pass 5k? If you pay to be in the club I think that’s a pretty good indicator your a good community member.

       @leo it’s my hope all services like this eventually become like email through federation. We can block the spammers and the scammers and then pick whatever platform or server we want that has the features we like.
