Pokemon HGSS are disappointing. While yes they brought a lot of innovation and had the best implementation of follower Pokemon, they literally did not fix any of the glaring flaws that Johto presents.Not to mention the late game was an incredibly awful grind fest with the Rock Climb HM shoehorned in well after you settled on how your team would operate. The level jump from Blue to Red, even after rebattling the elite 4 was too much. Every time I've replayed these games I've literally just quit after beating Blue because Mt Silver was awful and I don't have the patience to grind to just beat Red.

@navi@social.vlhl.dev if you want to keep things small, mini PCs with the new Ryzen APUs are really good. I've got a $500 with a 780M in it hooked up to my TV for gaming and it runs everything I could care to play with a controller on my TV.
