@stolas kinda like how I was getting mad about femboy hooters becoming a mainstream meme. Femboy was a previously a great red flag for queer racists and self hating homophobes

With all the husky stuff I have a really really strong urge to UM ACKSHUALLY the misinformation about it being an app specifically for gab and circumventing blocks, because its not true. I mean, the author kinda showed his hand in sucking yesterday and husky has no use being used by anyone on a mastodon instance, BUT the idea that it’s specifically a hardblock circumvention app is not truePeople got the right spirit but the facts are wrong

The circumvention app is freetusky I believe. Husky is pleroma specialized tusky with the added “bonus” of removing the blocklistThat being said people definitely use husky for that circumvention though
