I'm meant to be in priority group 3 for vaccinations, but I never got the invite letter. When I went to a German GP for the first time, I declared an "existing condition". I thought that they'd actually consider that but didn't. When I emailed them, the German GP wanted to do diagnosis even though I've had a whole life history. I went and booked my vax appointment even though I am not technically eligible at the time and today got a signed letter from my Oz GP which I'm gonna use 🤷♀️

I am wondering if this is normal for GPs here. Like "yeah your X condition doesn't exist unless we diagnose you here". I think it was because I wrote "receipts" when I actually meant a signed doctor letters too. 🤷♀️Now, I'm not sure if I should bother showing up to the German GP, but since the vax appointment is going to take place after the prioritization is lifted then it means that they won't check.

Putting feelers out there that I may be looking to hire a sysadmin for an ISO27001 project, so would be freelance atm. Would need to be in Germany, could work with someone not in Berlin but atm would require being in the office largely due to the current setup...

Had my first foray into Amazon telephone customer service and is the reason why I just hate calling customer service in Germany. 1. couldn't help, 2. spoke German but shouted at me, 3. Only German bu transferred me, 4. English speaker and finally helped out. Only took 50 min

so the only way to deal with this:- hope nothing blows up by the rest of the year- save money and work- hope there is some decency left that they can do home quarantine (ex vaccinated people) and lift flight caps (rn, empty planes are flying over)- try to move on for now because little I can do
