@b0rk sorry I just hate it so much it clouds my judgement. In my experience:I come across that cloudflare page "verifying you're a human" a lot. Same for captchas.I'm a gamer, and can't play via P2P a lot of games I'd like to play, for example I couldn't play Red Alert 3 coop with a friend, later ok we wanted to play EYE Divine Cybermancy, same issue.Used to have a headless PC I would turn on for mumble, later on became a home server. Had to move to a VPS when I was moved to a CGNAT.My experience is hardly unique tbh. I do have an IPv6 address, but I think most software (game servers mainly) don't seem to support it or I don't really know how hosting on IPv6 works for my services to be accessible to the wider internet?

@SuperDicq @themilkman org-mode is so good. But I haven't taken the whole pill and I still don't use it for static site publishing, maybe I'll learn soon

@SuperDicq @themilkman I'm on the same boat, my jekyll setup works like clockwork. What I could do is research if I can use org instead of markdown and leave everything else as is. But I also like markdown so it's not really a priority.

@icedquinn it makes sense. As a society, you want to avoid every law and regulation that disincentivizes cycling, because as a society you actually want more people walking and cycling. Helmet laws do that, disincentivize cycling. Also, in cities where cycling is the norm people don't even use helmets, so there's that.

@Pi_rat one of my normie friends who thought it was ridiculous to use mumble instead of discord when I told him about it like 4 or 5 years ago started taking the red pill gradually and with these news about discord seemed genuine on using mumble for voice chat from here on out
