The title of the article is somewhat misleading; it's about a possible case of plagiarismhttps://mssprovenance.blogspot.com/2022/12/nobody-cares-about-your-blog.html?m=1> I attempted to contact Prof. Rossi this week to ask for an explanation of the fact that she had apparently used so much of my work, and images, without acknowledgement.

Twitter has never been a public infrastructure. The public sector has been parasitic to the private ecosystem by a single company. Criticizing its governance misses the whole point.Rather, there should be discourses about the principles of public information infrastructure, about how to develop and maintain it, etc.

Has something happend on #liberapay? Its platform https://liberapay.com/ works properly, but it looks activity on @Liberapay has decreased and commits for the repos on GitHub seem to be sparse. I hope everything is OK over there.

One of the main reasons why I have avoided using linux OS phone is lack (or partial support) of IME (input method editor) for #Japanese language.https://joelboulder.com/posts/2022/04/07/fcitx5-rime-pinephone-postmarketos/Though Fcitx on #postmarketOS seems to work according to the page, it definitely requires to you to have a certain level of knowledge about how to compile a package.

@matrix @jfred @skyfaller Have you ever contemplated why the Matrix contributor ecosystem has not grown as much as you expected so far? Don't you think not-so-good communications by those who both contribute to specs and Element might have discouraged possible contributors from even enter the ecosystem? For example, check the discussion full of mistrust and resentment: https://github.com/vector-im/element-meta/issues/339.I guess it is a matter which cannot be solved by changing licenses or replacing DCO with CLA, etc.

Today I ventured to talk about HTTP based on a book written for programmers at the study community I belong, where usually traditional philosophical theories are discussed. I would call it a partial success, in terms of the result that it apparently encouraged the members to notice HTTP is worth of being learned in order to discuss Internet rationally.

Came to rural area in Japan with #fairphone4 and tracked history of 4G band usage with Netmonitor. It shows that the phone has caught B18, B19 (used in Japan only), and B28 fairly frequently, let alone B1 and B3 signal. It is an unfortunate decision that #fairphone5 ditched B18 and B19, both of which use lower frequency and cover wider area than B1 and B3 do.

I like to read through apps list on #fdroid, because it shows me how much we love creating and publishing what we believe have or would have meaning for ourselves in different situations.Indeed, not all of the apps are sophisticated as sold ones. But I think that is not the whole point. If so, we would have to say that any type of works by amateurs had less value than those by professionals.Various apps there as a whole are expressions of our approaches for humanity, based on the goodwill.

I have received a beautiful Swedish wood (cherry) phone case for #fairphone by Bark:https://en.barksweden.com/It fits to the phone nicely, protecting the front glass screen thanks to the edge around the case. The quality is great and I am pretty satisfied.

Today I went to the #Japanese bank, Mitsubishi UFJ.While waiting for being called in front of the booth, I noticed someone's umbrella in the next of it.I called a clerk who seemed to be in charge of the booth, and said, "Hi, there is an umbrella someone forgot".The clerk, clearly being annoyed for being called due to the stupid umbrella amid other tasks, responded like, "Yeah just leave it there, don't touch it", without thanks or whatsoever.Today I decided to close the account.
