It’s only so that I can more easily find my own posts later should the need arise.Allow full text search. A thousand times YES to this!!! 👏👏One reason Twitter excelled at being a news aggregator was because all its text was searchable. Couldn’t care less about quote tweeting but I sorely miss text search capability.

@atomicpoet Apologies Chris, my comment is a little off topic but I believe this is important. Bringing it up bc I follow many great writers on Substack and hope they think about this:What happens to content on Substack when the site sells out or shuts down? Writers have ZERO control of their content if they rely on a site owned/operated by any external entity, incl Twitter. Some have put in years of hard work. Danger of it going "poof" tho unlikely as of right now, could devastating.

@atomicpoet I realize content can be archived, preserved and reposted (potentially elsewhere). However there is brand recognition that comes with maintaining years of presence online. Relying solely on an external source to maintain that presence comes with a risk.
Serious authors would do well to consider maintaining their own web site as their primary brand home, with Substack (or any other platform) as a secondary driver.

@AgentCarter @TonyStark @SpiderMan It IS the guns. Not just too many of them, though there is that. Owning a gun changes a person. Studies have concluded that gun ownership has been shown to increase testosterone levels and aggressive behavior.

@stux DeSantis is worse than Trump but he won’t be president. The Rep party is broken — Trump/MAGA on one side, mainstream conservative on the other. Votes will get split. Republicans can’t win without Independents, and Indies don’t like Trump or DeSantis. Neither one are popular even in their own party. It’ll be a contentious race, but Biden’s got this. We’ll be ok.
