@h4890 @petrescatraian @EU_Commission @EC_NGI First, you know that the EU is run by a right wing coalition right ?Also, you seem to enjoy to live like a parasite (loopholes and stuff), but you could easily go leave some place else, you and your business. Maybe you enjoy the free healthcare and school and don't wanna pay ?And then, you seem to despise that others have contradictory opinions, but maybe expressing yours in a more nuanced manner would help people not blasting at you. "Europe die die" isn't very subtle sir.

@jeff @Ravencanada @rvawonk @DocScranton I see, I see. So let me unpack and tell me if I understood that one well. So you're saying that attacking grid ia fine because it's supposedly already been done by antifa ?To that assertion, for which you give absolutely no evidence, your only explanation is that the world media are clearly biased by liberal thinking, therefore not reporting on it. But now, as it is right wing extremists, it is being reported. It is funny, because I just read something super relevant to this conversation.Sorry for late edit :https://daringfireball.net/linked/2023/03/05/marshall-fox-new-archeologyThe story of the deep archeology of fox news.

@jeff @Ravencanada@mstdn.ca @rvawonk @DocScranton I don't want to argue with you. What I mean, and what others before me in this thread tried to say in a different way, is that when you build an argument you should back it up with facts and credible sources. These sources can be whatever you want, and people could disagree, and you should be ope to the possibility that you could be wrong. Opinions aren't equals. Some people have the knowledge and expertise that you don't on a specific matter, and I don't mean some infotainment journalist or some shady guy ranting on the microphone. I mean, people have always tended to just seek for others opinions and anecdotal facts to make fit with their ideological points of view. The difference today is that everyone can be heard, making these phenomenons of bubble thinking a lot more concerning. Most of the time though, looking at a problem from different perspectives and only then forming an opinion will lead you to a least biased one. Sticking to the facts, and not their interpretation is of the utmost importance. Having references for those facts is too. The rise of attacks on power grid (a well known military tactic btw) is a fact that can't be denied. The fact that most of the people in cause today for this problem is far right domestic terrorist groups is also undeniable. It fits their ideology and their objectives. I haven't heard about "antifa" (a term (ab)used as a gimmick by mass medias outside of it's true meaning btw) destroying power substations lately. It is possible that anti-fascist groups could do such a thing, but it's doesn't fit that much their ideology and/or agenda. Now there are some leftist groups that could align with these kind of objectives, as the idea of accelerationism is a post-marxist one, and its goal being the acceleration of the destruction of the capitalist system. But we're not in 70s Europe, and it seems very clear that the growing numbers of attacks on the power grid in the US is caused by some the neo-reactionary movements (NRx, dark enlightenment, neo-fascist,...). These guys just don't deny those facts. So you can support these guys and their movements, but you should VERY CAREFULLY look at what's the "philosophy" behind them. And please, stop making excuses for their actions.
