Just downloaded Bumble. Is this a good idea? Probably not.Will I at least have fun using it? Debatable.When will I stop using it? In about a week when I rage-delete it.The distraction is welcome though :blobcatheartbongo:

@jrballesteros05 I agree with you, it's nice to have the odd conversation through there but in-person/natural ways of meeting people are certainly my preferred method, much more organic. My dumb-ass didn't even consider the privacy applications 🤦♂️ Maybe it'll be far less than a week until I delete then!

@cooper @benjaminpaikjones To chime in on the shakes side of things - I've been using Huel as a quick/healthy meal replacement for most of this year and it's really helped me sustain a healthier balance of vitamins/minerals (as blood tests have shown me).They do a low-carb, high-protein version which (when mixed with water) is about 40g of protein per serving (but I imagine mixing it with milk, adding extra protein powder, etc can bump that up too). Hope this helps!

@rudolf Thanks for this, had never heard of this project and it seems like the best way of providing an easy-to-pick-up (everyone has an email address) alternative that'll be familiar (WhatsApp design) to those less tech-inclined around me. Going to have a play with this and see how it works.

@kev Geez, that got my blood boiling just to read it.You've clearly done so much to repair things after the fact, for your kids especially, that it would be a huge stretch to consider you a "bad man" in this.You had good intentions to protect your family and those around you. @Gina (UK) I saw a similar increase in December and then a 54% increase this month... The December increase was over 100% and after I called them up it turns out they had just massively overinflated the price to, I presume, make a quick buck from those who weren't going to pay attention to the Direct Debit hikes before the first payment. Is this an estimate based on some outlandish usage estimates or quite literally just a change of base rates? Hoping it doesn't end up hitting you this hard 🙏

@Gina My friends! I'm lucky to have a pretty large group of supportive individuals around me, really does help on tough days and ones where things don't seem to "click". And if it's any consolation (re: sneezing + throwing out back), I dropped an entire roll of tin foil on the floor yesterday, it hit the floor then began rolling across it until it had fully unravelled. There was not a chance in hell that I was going to get that rolled up again 🤦♂️
