Does anyone here remember when tobacco and alcohol companies got in trouble for using cartoon characters because they were normalizing and monetizing toxic, addictive behaviors for children?Microsoft's digital assistant is named Cortana. Cortana is a character from a video game franchise. Cortana is also one of the core features that Microsoft uses to data mine people who use Windows 10.

I keep seeing job hunting advice online that says to answer the question "Your greatest weakness?" with something like "I'm a perfectionist." That's terrible advice. Don't do that. Answer with a real challenge you've overcome, something the interviewer can relate to, and explain how it was an opportunity for growth and how you overcame it.Answer the question. Relate to the interviewer. Show how you grow and solve problems.

Been here for a bit, but it's time for a re- #introduction! I'm Stu. I am an old-ish indie game dev/designer. I make narrative driven stuff mostly. I use video games to explore narrative and mechanics, so a lot of my stuff is a bit out there. I use Unity3d, yarn, and twine as my go-to engines.I've worked on AAA games, but I prefer to do my own thing now.I also really like TV and Film (that's what I studied in university) and general pop-culture.
