my sweet wild birds are not at all happy with the husky puppy i adopted. bugger. anyway(not my photo) a week ago i saw one of these buddies sitting in the bare leafless apple tree in the backyard, all by himself, lookin at me. i'd never seen one of these guys before so i just stood there. he really didn't care about me -other than curiosity - to a degree that made me put my hand out to see if he wanted to come down cos maybe he was someone's baby? but nope he sat there chilling. after a few minutes of saying hi, i went back in the house to get my phone to take a pic, but ofc by the time i got back he was gone. he looked foofier than this pic because it's bloody cold here rn (1°C a few hours ago [33°f]), so he was all puffed up and round and cute ♡ i looked it up and i'm pretty sure he was a ~musk lorikeet~. hope i see him again one day ☻
