@Eiregoat To be fair, I see this kind of views on both sides. To a lot of rightists, leftists are only blue haired obese women, or child molester men in a dress, and both are only voting left because they want their worst sides to be glorified.Things are rarely this simple.

@Eiregoat How does that work ? Assuming the opinion is roughly divided in two halves, if leftists only go in leftist groups, and oust right wingers from there, rightists must have their own echo chambers too. I haven't seen a lot of loud leftists around these part of the web for example :p At my work, I used to be "the weirdo leftist", some people would make fun of me for recycling, or even getting vaccinated. (that's an actual true story)

If you do nothing, you're enablers." is what they'll tell you.I do agree with you, but I think it's pretty much just as true on the rightist side.Some people are racist or homophobic because their parents told them to be. They haven't read actual stats, did not question the click bait articles they've seen, have never met any blacks or gays.Some people are sexist or transphobic because they had a bad break up, or got cat-fished, and are men-children. Not because they looked into the science of biological and hormonal differences.I knew a guy who was a "feminist" until his gf left, and then suddenly, all women are whores. He was lazy as a leftist, and then he was lazy as a rightist.

@mushroom_soup I think snails have an instinct of trying to climb as high as possible. Every snail I temporary kept home free ends up on the ceiling. Apparently it might have something to do with fleeing from predators on the ground, or avoiding heat .
