I am booting my windows install for the first time in months, which means I have a lot of time to kill. And I'm idly wondering if quake was the first fps to use the modern keyboard/mouse control scheme.I'm not entirely sure it was the default, but suspect it was still the game that made it popular.

@shlee @uoya It was a thing for my single user instance, because I got tired of not being able to run masto on a VPS with 1GB of RAM. But I migrated by throwing away history, so probably not helpful for people wanting to do it on bigger instances.

Someone messed up, and I've only got 20mm conduit for data cabling between the house and my office. Sparkie'll run two cables through it, instead of the one he thought he was doing. But that's all I get. It's workable but annoying.
