I'm _so so so_ grateful that I can easily work remotely these days. I love the flexibility to plan small trips without having to cram them into 2 days. You would expect internet to make this sort of thing the norm, but there are a lot of external challenges to working remotely beyond availability of internet access.

@jrc03c Seeds and nuts are good brain food. I keep a small bowl of almonds on my desk during the day, mostly because I snack out of habit and not because I am hungry. You could try pumpkin or sunflower seeds. If you're actually _hungry_, you need to address the nutrients to calorie ratio of your meals so you can eat enough to get full without overeating.

@wakest I used to post a lot to instagram, and I always found that things I was felt "meh" about were to most popular. Sometimes the "lowest common denominator" effect is in full swing.

@neauoire @jrc03c 🍎Thanks for the info. I will look into Effective Altruism and 80k Hours. In the spirit of minimalism, I will focus on local community first. I think these things can have big impact.

I'm also really curious about non-solarpanel solarpunk things. Solar ovens? Solar composting? Solar food-curing/drying? I'm sure there's a blog out there for me.
