@ueckueck Danke, getan. Ein Export der Namen und Adressen wäre auch sehr nett gewesen. Dann hätte ich die Abgeordneten persönlich adressieren können.

@clacke There are quite some browsers out there. The main problem I see with a list is that one would have to choose what belongs on it and what doesn't. A complete list is pretty much impossible and would include a lot of browsers that aren't of any use to most people. You might choose to exclude unmaintained projects, Firefox and Chromium forks, browsers without a JS engine or without CSS3 support or with incomplete CSS2.1 support or closed-source browsers or those that cost money to license. But that list would be empty. So you'd have to decide what to focus on. Or you just write down what you like and can think of right now. Like that:I think Verso deserves a mention. And definitely NetSurf. Maybe Grazer, too. You've already mentioned Dillo and The Argonaut Constellation. I think it's also worth checking out browsers running KHTML or WebKit engines. They are a lot faster than the current giants. I'm not aware of a relatively recent browser based on an old Gecko engine. You can still run Konqueror or Gnome Web though. Oh, I almost forgot Pale Moon, which has its own engine as far as I know. Everything beyond that I can think of is very/too niche or not a graphical web browser at all. (There are alternatives.)@alcinnz @stux @dredmorbius @kasra_mp @su_liam

@clacke I hope after waking up you realised this wasn't real and you could finally determine the contents.

@cell It's my new "everything just plays" player. #VLC doesn't, even though that's still what it is known for with many people. So, thanks from me as well, for making it simple and for some unusual decisions.

@kaia It sort of exists. But it's cluttered with a lot of waste and malicious #web sites and obstructed by search engines that don't surface the stuff that I'd like to find with them.In creating this alternative internet (call it #SmallWeb or whatever) we also have to take care of making it findable.Creating blogrolls and directories, using inline links and link lists as much as possible, sharing OPML files and posting about interesting or important pages is good. But it doesn't help very much in the scenario where someone is using a search engine that seems to almost entirely ignore those indicators of valuable content. So for me the main question currently is: How do we (/I) support alternative #SearchEngines? Or do we have to make us stop using them like we have to abstain from using #BigTech products?

@foone I guess smartphones is the answer for me. I was looking at PDAs and Nokia Communicators in electronics stores in my early teens, feeling I will never be able to afford one. (Eventually got two 9300 for free a few years ago though.) And after the iPhone came out the more I learned about the newer smartphones the more I wanted one. And it was great. Early Twitter had a nice culture and was really something new and exciting especially during congresses and other events. Being able to do so many things on the go others hadn't even thought of being a possibility was exciting. The tech developed quickly and became cheaper. I guess the word 'exciting' is the one that I would use a few more times if I'd go on.
