       @Revertron @downey @rmdes All data on Fedi are public. Anyone can query the API afaik. Meta is getting to your toots whether your instance federates with then or not. So I don’t think defederaring achieves your goal of privacy.

       @uncomfyhalomacro @drewdevault I am sorry, but is that really necessary? The software is useful for many and there is no point in punishing users because the authors mismanage their communities. There is a line between “I use the software” and “I support whatever the software maker does”. It isn’t like I am giving the authors money for using the software.
