@Thuncotos @crunklord420 this reminds me of something I saw maybe 10 years ago. There was an EU summit or something and a representative from Latvia or Estonia suggested something obviously to the detriment of his country. He was confronted by a journo after and I guess he was so flustered he let the mask slip and basically said "Look we have no power, if the USA says jump all we can say is how high"

@Hyolobrika @crunklord420 @thatbrickster the UK also has eminent domain, its just called something different. My friend was literally told to GTFO of his home by the local council because they wanted to knock it down and build something else on the land. He spent 3 years fighting them - not to stay, he literally had no say in the matter, but to get enough compensation to cover what he paid for it originally. Don't pretend like the UK gov wouldn't fuck you in the ass if it wanted to.

@crunklord420 i saw another one about Russia totally losing the war and only resorting to hypersonics out of desperation. The copium is flowing freely. Russian gov said it was the most efficient way to hit a small target without blowing the surrounding area to smithereens. I think it was also at least partially a warning to the west - we have missiles that can hammer in a nail from 1,000km away that you won't even see coming, don't fuck with us.

@Flay @crunklord420 the lunacy of people in Washington is very worrying. Saw an interview with some representative from Florida calling for the US to fly in and close the air over Ukraine. The interviewer asked if she actually knew what that would mean - a declaration of war against Russia which would spiral into a nuclear war and the dumb bint had no fucking clue. jfc

The tech and busines boards on KF are objectively 100x better than biz or g and part of that might be the lack of popularity.
