This seems like a good time for a PSA:If in the future you see something on a public-facing webpage you want to make a durable record of for use as evidence, don't take a screenshot. Those are -- understandably -- widely considered too easy to fabricate. Instead, snapshot the page with the Internet Archive. It'll log a timestamped copy of the page to their servers. Highly tamper-resistant.https://archive.org/web/ ("save page now", bottom-right)

Hey Fediverse tell me about your favorite systems of personality classification! Especially if they're weird or obscure!I actually love the MTG Color Pie as personality system. And, sightly different, learning about Robert Keegan's five stage model of ethical development has given me some really useful lenses.Four elements can be interesting. Four humors less so imo, but still neat to learn about.I have a grudge against the MBTI.So send me your favs!:boost_ok:

So.The sky is really, really big. How do astronomers go from giant sky surveys to knowing what specific objects warrant further study? Are there automated processes to look for things with weird spectra or light curves or other stuff?I remember volunteering online to look at stellar light curves for planetary transits, precisely because the task was hard to automate. I saw a couple of especially weird curves which I was able to flag for follow-up. Do y'all just sort data by hand?:boost_ok:
