@dommymommy because Arch is an ☆•°•♡OPEN SOURCE INTERNET COMMUNITY PROJECT♡•°•☆ which means it's basically a few core maintainers cat herding a bunch of driveby contributors. There's no penalty for not shipping so sometimes they don't. Also yes, apt/dpkg is literally 15+ years older than pacman so it has lots of warts. Try Almalinux or Rocky Linux (new RHEL rebuilds since CentOS got whacked), or try Alpine, which is very comfy if you don't need third party binaries. :cirnoHi:

@rats @GrungeQueef 99% of the time this is about custodial exchange wallets. The alternative would require them arresting you and physically seizing your computers along with any information needed to unlock your wallet. IIRC that's what they did to SilkRoad because DPR was physically tackled by feds at a coffee shop with his laptop open and logged in as admin, so his wallet was probably open too.

SARS-CoV-2 did a speedrun into irrelevance as just another mild cold, to the point that most claimed "COVID" deaths/injuries at this point are really vaccine side effects. "Long COVID" in particular was only ever a cover story for the strokey pokey. I had the original-strength strain of COVID-19 courtesy of working in downtown Seattle in early 2020 and it was literally just a flu. Anyone who can't beat today's pansy-ass variants was already on death's door. That means the appropriate fix is to repeal the Americans with Disabilities Act and ban all the behaviors and foods/drugs/etc. that let the country get so disgustingly out of shape in the first place, not to run around screaming for more needles in our arms like degenerate heroin addicts. :cirnofacepalm:

So #4chan has been read only for about four hours now. On a normal website this would mean database backups but 4chan lets stuff roll off the board on purpose, so it's probably feds making forensic copies of the site. This has happened a few times before, but didn't take this long. Maybe all the FBI diversity hires are just that bad at their jobs.
