       Earlier today, I corrected somebody's use of "cue" versus "queue" and I got slightly fixated on that.I was going to post "I wonder, is there an etymological link between 'cue' and 'queue'?" but then I thought, "Surely this is a question that can be answered with a quick google.        Okay, this is killing me.I have many years of personal data strewn across many different hard drives/USB Drives/SD cards.Has nobody out there made a tool for managing this kind of situation? Like, can I search for a file and have the tool say "It's on the USB flash drive marked '6A'" rather than plugging them in one at a time?If nothing else, how can I merge 8+ folders called "Music" that are *mostly* the same?My #FieldRecording hobby isn't going to help.😅#archives #librarians #backups

       So, the fucking EARN IT act is back again. It seems unlikely to pass, but the thought of it passing will keep me up at night, anyway.
