       @clive Unfortunately, I think the majority of North American cities are simply not designed with cyclists in mind. Sharing the road with two-ton vehicles is a sure way to get killed.I would rather the government invest in better urban planning to make cities safer and more convenient for cyclists and pedestrians. E-bikes are a great way to cover long distances, but that shouldn't be necessary if zoning laws did not force us to live hours away from city centers.

       @aparrish This post is so well timed. Yesterday I took the time to write a well documented bug report on a GitHub repository, only to have it promptly closed and to be told to instead join their Discord server.Once I joined their server, I carefully wrote out my issue and posted it on their support channel, only to watch it disappear in a sea of rapid fire messages from members discussing all matter of things. What is so wrong with using GitHub to track issues and prioritize work?
