@apps Is this the first step towards a full fledged Fedilab web app client? 🙂

@apps Maybe it's just me, but it would be awesome to be able to combine Nitter and Mastodon timelines together, to see posts from both in one place!

@lowqualityfacts There's plenty they exaggerate, but let's be real here. If someone sends a link to your post and the average user opens it up and sees this when they try to reply... I'm sorry but Mastodon has some garbage UX that make it obvious it was designed by/for developers who have no idea what an intuitive UX is.

Sneak peek at the overhauled Agora client that will support logging in with either your #Mastodon, #Nostr, or #BlueSky account and seeing posts from the other two protocols! Super awesome to see what’s possible thanks to amazing bridges by @alex and @snarfed.org and @cheeaun for the awesome Phanpy base to build off of

@alex @snarfed.org @cheeaun Choosing "log in with nostr" sets the instance to "ditto.pub", while choosing "log in with Bluesky" sets the instance to "skybridge.fly.dev" which does for bluesky accounts what ditto.pub does for nostr accounts

@alex If I'm logged in to a *nostr account* on a mastodon web client using ditto.pub, and I look for a mastodon account, it should be the mostr.pub version, right?Having trouble getting ditto.pub to find a bridged mastodon account on mostr.pub. Example:Mastodon account: @anneapplebaum Mostr.pub bridged account:anneapplebaum_at_journa.host@mostr.pub When searching that on a nostr client, it finds it, but when searching from a mastodon client using ditto.pub, it doesn't. Thoughts?

@alex @anneapplebaum It's looking like the user doesn't exist yet on mostr.pub, not sure if there's a missing first step to generate their bridged profile firsthttps://ditto.pub/api/v1/accounts/8667fbeaf67a8920a825738c7f133477192a98bc7c5fb4b4b03753958c5c05b1

In support of user autonomy, it would be nice to see Mastodon clients notifying users when a profile they’re searching is on a remote instance that’s blocked by their instance, and then offer to load it for them directly if they still want to see it. Instance admins have the right to choose what gets federated to their servers, but users shouldn’t be totally at the whim of those admins decisions.
