@lauren Just shows what a genius Musk is -- when 100,000 businesses sign up for this extremely valuable feature, he'll cover his interest payments!

@lauren News reports say it's big enough that if they shot it down the debris might well hit someone. And it's obvious they'd rather get it intact.

@lauren I figured it was a weather balloon until I saw the size of the two explosions when it hit the water.

@lauren I went up in one of the WTC towers while it was under construction, exterior walls and floors done but no internal finishes. It was pretty interesting, and the elevator did work. Re apartments, I spent one summer in one in L.A. (you doubtless remember when) and that was plenty of L.A.

@lauren We're jealous. I fail them all but I have no trouble with traffic lights or stop signs.

@lauren If you actually read the proposed language, it's the same as has been in .COM for three years, and actually says the obvious, that Verisign will do what the government requires it to do. The "any government in the world" is what you might imagine it said if you had never read a contract before.

@lauren Like I said, it's been in .COM for three years. This just makes the two consistent. It's a nothingburger.

@lauren Twilio is not usually my favorite company, but their Authy app works well, backs up codes from multiple devices in the cloud, and assuming what they say is true, the backups are encoded with a password only you know. (Forget the password., lose the backups.)https://authy.com/blog/how-the-authy-two-factor-backups-work/

@lauren Life in the UK was pretty grim in 1952, also. Food rationing didn;t end until 1954.

@lauren President John "His Accidency" Tyler was born in 1790, and still has a living grandson. That's grandson with no great- prefix.

@brewsterkahle Some of the songs in the complaint are considerably less than 70 years old. This isn't going to go any better than CDL did.
