@framaka @rmd @JulieBrilletOn peut se féliciter des 40 ans du projet GNU et ne pas faire l'apologie de la rock-star en question, par exemple en promouvant sa biographie, fût-elle officieuse ! Justement parce qu'il y a plein d'autres gens impliqués dans GNU et qui ne sont ni des rock-stars, ni des agresseurs sexuels.Donc non, il y a beaucoup trop de gens qui en parlent (de RMS), et notamment qui en parlent en omettant ce qui les dérange ![EDIT : l'imparfait du subj. était plus qu'imparfait]

@publicvoit I used to use #stow and moved to #chezmoi recently. It's very nice for the templates, and the handling of more things (scripts, externals, etc.)BUT by default it doesn't use symlinks, only copies of files, and hence when a tool writes to the config file, it is not propagated back.You can of course tell chezmoi to use a symlink for such a file (https://www.chezmoi.io/user-guide/manage-different-types-of-file/#handle-configuration-files-which-are-externally-modified) but it's not very convenient.Also chezmoi's handling of permissions is basic (enough for me, butâŠ).
