Around Saturday night, our central AC unit failed. While we got through that night, the following morning we bought a portable AC unit as a backup, got a hotel to survive the 100F temperature peak. The thing is, yeah, my current laptop *is* old, but it's still working. For now. 8 years is a *long* time for a Dell XPS, and this one is still going. I know it won't go forever though, so I might as well start this now.
