@mgrondin I remember "wasting" a few shots to finish the film and get it developed sooner. At least the wait back then was shorter with the 1 hour shops. B&W film I developed with my dad at home so that had to wait for the weekend.

@mgrondin @thebiologist1117I believe for 35mm film a 50mm lens is considered 1x. I believe the real focal distance for 1x is a bit lower (48?). You can divide the lens' focal length by 50 and get the multiplication factor.

@cameron @digisho I think @ChrisWere is using LMDE and is quite happy with it. He may have some more insight.

@selea Looks interesting. Might set up a node myself at some point, though no other nodes are nearby. The closest one (in BG) won't be reachable on 2.4GHz or 5GHz.One more reason to move to Germany where the network is denser.

@mgrondin psychedelic! Ask my dad who developed films on his own for many years and he was puzzled as well. Are other shots on the roll like this? First thought was some interaction between the developer and surfactant, but it seems to have affected only the light areas. Black hair is fine.

@mgrondin I remember reaching in my pocket on the way home to make sure I hadn't lost the coupon :) Unless of course you were friends with the people at the shop.

@flafflar The main difference between "regular" and zener diodes is that zeners will conduct in the reverse direction above the zener voltage. So below 6.2V, in this case, the load resistor will see the full input voltage. Above 6.2V the voltage will be capped to 6.2V.Dave Jones of EEVBlog did a nice video on Zener diodes.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0ifJ4oVdG4I hope this helps
