       @SandraN I think motor-mouth is one of several failed political leaders speaking to an audience of equally uninspiring irrelevants. I'm not sure it's worth any attention other than to remind us all just how bad he was/is. He does remain an embarrassing oaf though and it would be better if he kept quiet.

       @edgeoforever I used a lot of the dirt that I took from the greenhouse site to fill in holes that Geri and his pal Freki had dug previously. Not sure how long those repairs will last. ;? )

       @MorpheusB @spinopsys I don't like the idea of taxing unrealised capital gains either but a super fund should ensure it has enough liquid assets to cover it's tax bills. Also, it's not a novel idea - for example, rates and land tax are levied on a notional land value each year.

       @HardBeingGreen @John it seems as though it's a perfect opportunity to change direction. I'm not sure he'll be getting good advice on it though. Too many war hawks and sinophobes around him. On the other hand building up defence capability via his "made in Australia" idea might be an argument that sways him.
