@Mr_NutterButter Did you try the beef stew recipe? This works with other meats as well, but you'll want chicken broth for chicken stew/soup.Also I forgot to mention it requires salt, but to your tastes. Buying a thing of Cajun seasoning and seasoning it afterwards might work better. If it doesn't have enough salt, it will taste really, really bland

@Mr_NutterButter If you're eating a meal that's just healthy meat and vegetables, your body will probably fill up on protein and fiber at far fewer calories than you're used to. Just start by comparing how much you go through now vs before and see if you're not suddenly eating less and pooping more.Your slow cooker should only have "Low" and "High". 6 hours on high, 8 on low. Don't wait till you're perfect to try your first time and get a thing of your favorite Cajun spice just in case

@Mr_NutterButter Cook it your way and subsist on it until you get tired. Then start making as much of your food from scratch as possible. You can revisit your weight after you plateau from eating healthy.
