Anybody in #pdx interested in either buying or being a foster parent for a beautiful 1910 Ludwig upright grand piano. There are a couple aesthetic repairs needed, but it plays beautifully and fiercely holds a tune.My partner and I are moving in two weeks, so serious inquiries only please. @Gargron this tension will come up ad infinitum until you establish a proper mechanism for collective decision making. A board, some kind of voting process, etc etc.You should not individually be making important and controversial decisions for an entire community of people with a process and some actual democracy.The BDFL thing isn't cute or amusing. I need to spend way less time reading news online and more time with revolutionary literature.I passed by this McDonalds where on September 9th, 2016, we held a rad action to shut down McDonalds, hand out bag lunches, and educate people about prison slave labor. We even had a solitary housing unit, folks blocking the intersection, hundreds in attendance throwing down.Just burst into tears. Shit is dark times but together we are so strong. We need to build power and focus on each other

I do not think I have the capacity to grow (or even maintain) a fediverse instance anymore. I really love some of the goals of #OrgSoc and the awesome ppl who made it more than just a personal instance, but I may be looking for a new home soon...Could anyone recommend a solid space for one interested in community organizing?
