@mike exactly ... why incur expenses if these can be passed on to someone else ...

@mike This reminds me of s.th. Sadhguru had said a while back: if stress is something you don't want, why would you manage it?!Suppose that's the neurotic Western approach, in essense putting more energy into the problem - wouldn't it be better to cut our stressors and live a lifestyle that fosters all around well-being?

@otyugh I've asked myself the same question. Some of these search engines still obtain content from Google on the backend ... question now is whether your IP and search terms are forwarded as well? Anybody on the net can make all sorts of claims, legal or otherwise. We'd need to verify ... ;-)

@fsf I've been intruigued and looked into it but just didn't find it intuitive to use ~ not practical. Maybe I'll take another look ...

@rms totally agree that the Amazon must be protected and yes, Citibank shouldn't even be involved in financing big oil and claim support for the environment. HOWEVER, the Brazilian government needs to get its shit together and protect its own habitats and indigineous people! IOW, foreign investment should not even be part of the equation in Brazil. Something needs to change in the world in terms of what motivates human behavior: it cannot continue to be money ~
