       @NeonPurpleStar @mastodonmigration @KamalaHarrisWin The first few hundred times I chalked the NYT sanewashing up to the reflexive, credulous reaction to persistent cries of "liberal media" from the right. But once the eugenics/white supremacy statement got rephrased as "interest in genes and genetics" it became clear that the NYT management is rooting for fascism. Literally normalizing white supremacy.

       @stux I don't want it personally. I have tried to think of an ethical use case and I considered maybe if it helped people with language difficulties write to their elected representatives. Would need guardrails and I'm still not sure.
