@stux I also voted "go for it" and now think that was a rash decision. It will create more problems and headache than it solves. A directory service would be way more helpful.

it occurs to me that scrobbling my #music listening habits is mostly useless, since I spend so much of my time listening to *new* music which I may not necessarily like. :lolsob: I suppose over a long enough time frame it will reveal something? :blobcatgooglyshrug:

@reay @feld I think this doesn’t really take into account that lots of people posting content to YT actively profit of the ad revenue YT is wrapping around their content. It is not in their interest to make it available elsewhere.
