Yeah, he has the causus belli recently, but he wouldn't have moved against the apparatus of the Russian state with 25k people, without the sanction of the oligarchs. And Pooty-poot wouldn't have fled an uprising of 25k if he thought it was _just_ some dude with 25k guns. This goes deeper.

@xerz @riderkicker who knows yet. My guess is on the oligarchs testing Putin with strength, and he conceded to their hidden demands. We won't know until the government is overthrown and the history books are written.

@EU_Commission Oh my paws and whiskers do you have this wrong.Training health professionals isn't going to cure a capitalism problem.The only way to cure this once and for all is to destroy the work-or-starve system we have created.Being able to eat and having somewhere safe to live should not be dependent on making profits for those that do not produce anything. Until those problems are solved, more medical professionals are useless.

@fristi @starshine if you want to see how things work and have a laugh/cry at the same time, watch the select committee meetings. They are always broadcast publicly.The one on the client-side scanning was an eye-opener and the parliament members tore the commissioner a new one. It was that meeting that led to both the commission dropping the scanning idea, and then the Schrems complaint about targeted ads on Twitter. Seeing how the sausage is made is actually very good in this case.
