       @jmanumeza I am still able to play #openarena and there are a good 50+ servers still up and running. Not a huge player community but it's not like the game is defunct either.

       @stux Is someone offering increasingly obscene amounts of money for them? I find that incredibly rude when people do that. It seems like "not for sale" to them just means "offer more money", as opposed to "don't bother offering any more money".

       @wjmaggos I like the idea but honestly, we already have quite a few people fleeing just to get away from Muskrat and the hell he has made. A month isn't long enough to boycott #birdsite, it needs to be forever.

       @CliffWade I did not dump "birdsite" completely after making a Mastodon account but eventually the new ownership decided to take it in a direction I was no longer comfortable with. I have found I don't miss birdsite much at all; I still read some of the posts there but no longer participate.

       @stux I remember that the first high school I went to require you to be a junior for a parking permit. I managed to miss by half a credit because I calculated wrong so I was technically a 10th grader for 2 years in a row. The few times I drove to school I parked on the street about a block away, not on campus. Due to some unrelated issues, wound up transferring to a school that was much less strict about who could park on campus. Life was good.

       @stux Right now the whole reason for being on the Metaverse is with the idea of, long term, leaving Meta, Twitter, et al behind. Right now the latter is already out of my "traffic pattern" but some of my work will require me for the near future to have a presence on at least FB and IG. I'm looking forward to the day when I can de-Zuck my social media traffic pattern like I've already de-Musked it.

       @foone My pharmacy's address is 45 characters unless you abbreviate the street name and cut off the zip code. No way a phone number fits in there too.
