       @EngelMichelmann @aramba Seit ich in Amsterdam Fahrradfahren war, hab ich neues Selbstbewusstsein geschöpft. Wenn der Radweg nicht existiert, es einen geteilten Fuß-/Radweg gibt, der Radweg schlecht gebaut und holprig ist oder einfach gefährlich nah an Autotüren verläuft, dann fahre ich auf der Straße. Und zwar nicht klein am Rand, sondern mitten auf der Spur, so dass keine Frage aufkommt, ob Autos sich an mir vorbeiquetschen können.

       @publicvoit So... can that be used as a weapon? My immediate thought is that if enough people put some of these documents on their public servers, maybe we can fight back those crawler bots that ignore robots.txt

       @maxschrems We could counter with an equally stupid tariff... or we could do the smarter thing and abolish the anti-circumvention laws that we originally passed against our interests just because the US threatened tariffs otherwise. Now that we get tariffs there is no reason to stay captured by US tech companies. We could have right to repair laws and the right to write, distribute and buy software for the products we buy. There is no reason that John Deere can brick all of Europe's tractors at the same time (or Tesla all Teslas, Apple all iPhones, Microsoft all office suites etc) other than that we agreed to stupid deals in the past to avoid tariffs, which we get now anyway. It was not asked for.I would broadly classify Veronica's posts as complaints. There are several ways you can go about complaints: you can ignore them, commiserate and extend your empathy, or you can offer solutions. Maybe there are other. Typically, when women* complain, they want empathy. What men* read is that they want a solution. I think that's gender roles speaking. I recognize that I do that too and it led to some frustrating situations in the past.So I tell you, from man to men (presumably), because I think it's not the women*'s job to educate us: try not to offer women* solutions when they are not explicitly asked.*mostly
