@feld @lanodan @rin Same here. Though, it was working fine until about a week ago. It could probably be tuned a little better but it shouldn't be this bad. The only thing I can think of is that an index is missing or bad. I'm no database expert tho.

@lain @lanodan @rin Normal usage because eventually it will stress the db to the point posts won’t load and you can’t post.Interestingly, I added a rewrite rule to nginx to remove with_muted=(.*) from /api/v1/favourites and cpu instantly dropped back down to normal.Here’s the rewrite I used: # Test drop mute location /api/v1/favourites { if ($query_string ~ "^(.*)with_muted=(.*)$") { rewrite ^(.*)$ $uri? redirect; } }So, it has something to do with mutes and some user, likely with a lot of mutes, trying to load it.So my guess is that the problem lies in mutes. Not sure if it’s with the index or not but mutes seem to stress postgres really hard. You can see exactly when I restarted nginx in this screenshot.image.png

@rin @lain @lanodan 🤷 It fixed the issue. looking into it, without that, naked /api/v1/favourites returns a 404 so maybe it's an issue with favourites.
