@GluedToTheScreen @Johncdvorak Yeah. This has all the hallmarks of a big score. It has a name that sounds like "El" in it. Which is a reference to Saturn. Rip-El. XRP has legal clairity and they're only waiting for the financial slap on the wrist so the SEC can get some money and look like they had a "win" so that's a finger on the trigger that could be pulled at anytime. They already won their "no a security" part of the case.

@Johncdvorak Hey John, I can help put together a podcast awards show for you. I planned one out for OBDM where I was going to pay Norm Macdonald on Cameo to read my script for an intro/monologue, intermission and outro for the show. Due to Cretched hating me, I’m not sure they even read the script but had they followed through it would have been the last awards show hosted by Norm Macdonald. OBDM would have been in the history books.

@Johncdvorak The way I’d do the show is to create a website with a form that asks the submitter their contact info, the show name, link to the show, the 3 categories they think they should win an award in, a short clip of their show, and their acceptance speech for if they win the award. Then you and Adam record intros, intermissions, etc. Then make a form for no agenda producers to come out and give awards to podcasts for various categories and use the form to submit their audio parts

@Johncdvorak @adam I heard your idea for the awards show being made up categories and having people submit clips and whatever category for the clip.I think if you do it like that you'll only get clips from the 4 or so podcasts who listen to the show.Setting up the awards without a focus and all for a laugh doesn't give podcasters a reason to submit their show for an award. Also don't you want your awards to be kind of prestigious?

@Johncdvorak @adam Also, having the categories submitted doesn't make sense. One user submits for "best vocal fry" but no one else knows that category exists, so you'll only get one submission per category. Which means you won't have a running, which means no envelope opening hook which is the whole point to an awards show.
