Well, Microsoft Edge is kind of a pile now. It's pretty easy to accidentally get stuck in the address bar / toolbar region and no amount of f6ing will get you out of it. So, if we want Chromium, we choose between that nonsense, Chrome and its evilness, or Brave and its problematicness. I'm sure happy Firefox works for me 99.99% of the time.

Calling blind hams and particularly Canadian ones: I've been kicking around the idea of getting a ham radio license for a long time--like, since my age was in the single digits. I partially blame ADHD for not having the bandwidth for this. It's been on my mind lately and I'm wondering if anyone has ideas of where I should start in Canada in particular. I'm not sure what accessibility-related considerations I should have or whether there's a widely-accepted, accessible set of study materials somewhere. I used to have a lot of informational tapes, and I have no idea what happened to them or where they came from. Looks like there is a lot of material online, but if anyone has recommendations it might save me from studying up the wrong tree.

@futurebird Maybe not the answer you're looking for, but this got me thinking about why exactly these words are confusing, and it occrs to me that people are trying to un-learn the decimal system every time they use numbers to express things in a different base. I wonder if it would help to just use actual, unique symbols. If you give people 0, 1 and 2 and tell them to count, their brains are tripping over themselves because they have to fight the natural assumption that "10" is "the number of fingers I have" or "the number that comes after nine". Take away that association until people understand the concept of counting using fewer or more symbols, and maybe it will make more sense.
