URGENTLY REOPENING #MUSIC #COMMISSIONS – Delivery expected for November/December 2024My computer (the device I use for all my music productions) got damaged by an exploding power supply, & I have no estimate of how much needs to be replaced & for how much money (beyond a blown PSU, which cost nearly US$150 to replace yesterday, & still the new PSU cannot power on the computer). URGENTLY REOPENING #MUSIC #COMMISSIONS AGAIN – Delivery expected for no earlier than March 2025On August 17, my computer (the device I use for all my music productions) became out of service by an exploding power supply, shortly after recovering from a tropical storm-caused blackout. It cost nearly US$150 to replace that PSU with a new unit, which still refused to power on the computer because it too got damaged, somehow (turned out, the peripheral power cables connecting the PSU to the hard disk & optical disc drives were either shorted or incompatible with the new PSU, thus damaging it). A month later (September), the new PSU was again replaced but also this time the peripheral power cables were also replaced, & only then my workhorse PC came back alive… only for the new PSU to again explode now on October 16 (two months after the first PSU’s explosion & one month after being replaced together with new cables). That certain people from Misskey, Baraag, & other Fedi instances (especially NSFW instances) use it to cook up lolicon & shotacon models does not make it a child porn game; otherwise, by your obviously-tarded logic, almost everything we use in life (computers, cameras, phones, etc.) would have to be called child porn devices because a very-small percentage of the global population happens to use it to cook up illegal or otherwise-gray-area content.Using Koikatsu ≠ supporting CP/loli/etc.I know of plenty of artists (including minors) who use Koikatsu for 100% SFW purposes; should they pay the price because a handful of floating turds use third-party mods for it to make loli or shota material that is not necessarily supported by the game devs?@Junes@clubcyberia.co @waifu@mai.waifuism.life

@sakurajima@sakurajima.moe Has Sakurajima ever interacted with Japanese art-oriented #Misskey instance Oekakiskey.com?Since a week or two ago, it is now blocking access from non-Japanese IP addresses (not just sign-ups but also anonymous browsing); while a #VPN set to Japan will still let you browse it anonymously, I don’t know if it will let you sign up for an account there (or if Oekakiskey has VPN-detection systems like those that prevent non-Japanese residents from signing up on Misskey.io). I know Misskey.io set up its partial #geofencing system (affecting only foreign sign-ups but not foreign anon browsing) in 2023 because many non-JPN IPs were signing up there for spam or CSAM (like what was happening on Pawoo since 2021), but I don’t know what reasons Oekakiskey just has now to do this full geofencing going on now.
