@ScottMortimer For fun I was spinning up DigitalOcean virtual machines and enabling fail2ban. After immediate spin up attacks happen. Like immediately after vm creation. It's amazing.Yeah I like your idea of moving the port. Dump the kids and see the baddies.

my most significant employer either a) is a direct asset of the US intel community or b) is unaware that their position is directed by the US intel community.i need to flee this situation asap. i wager they are completely unaware of their position and we are being taken advantage of. or the owner himself doesn't' know. i don't want to be part of it so i'm leaving.within two weeks i will be unemployed.
