@simon i might be the one hallucinating then. I remember preparing for a podcast by dumping a link and asking to summarize it. I mean, it's not a hard thing to do ( get the page and feed the content of the biggest text in the prompt).It summarized including the date of the event in the article.More recently I had to paste the content manually. I am fairly sure it used to worked though. I've seen it making up urls, so I remember testing it was actually loading the content.

@ParadeGrotesque don't you hate that feeling of having to preemptively justify opinions? I feel it every time that I want to say something about GPTYesterday a friend linked to a new zine about smol-web, which happen to use Proton drive to distribute their PDF version.Holier-than-thou drive-by commenter had to point out the hypocrisy of using a hosting provider that requires Javascript.It's literally the most exhausting part of the fediverse.

@JF @matrix @PINE64 especially if you use any kind of bridge and join big rooms. My single user instance has thousands of "users", for all of the puppets from various bridges.

@JF @matrix Native matrix rooms I assume? Does that create users on the instance DB for remote users? I am in several matrix rooms but I have to admit my main use case is to centralize my IMs, so I noticed the thousand of "functional" users.But still, I get you, any kind of "heavy" use stresses the DB even if it's just you on it.

@lauren the Borg have proven time and time again to be extremely rational.I always argued that they should assimilate somebody with the idea that VOLUNTARY assimilation should be encouraged by the collective, as a win-win scenario between the Borg and the rest of the galaxy.A total and unironic vote for the Borg here.
