       I work in an industry that is closely-aligned with Business Process Automation, and let me tell you, the rapidity with which ChatGPT is being hailed as the "next industry trend" is frankly alarming.I can only imagine this is happening in every other industry right now, pretty much the same way.This thing is smoke and mirrors on a whole new scale and there are SO MANY people with business and economic (and therefore social -- thanks, unchecked capitalism) power who are completely enthralled by this thing, it's frightening.At this point, I'm just waiting for the first death attributed to ChatGPT.

       I’ve removed Reddit from my bookmarks on all of my computers and devices. I’ve only been interfacing with it briefly and while logged out for several years now, and the latest pushes to consolidate everyone onto their godforsaken app is the last straw. It will not be missed. I can find memes elsewhere.

In capitalism, it's always the money.
