       I could be wrong here.As someone who has stop using Facebook since around 2013, its hard to believe #TikTok is used as surveillance. All of the FUD related to TikTok always mentions Chinese, communism, and so on.Compare to my Android phone that collect my location, and Facebook that scan every faces in photo, there is no hard evidence, that I know, about surveillance until now.In fact, #TikTok is the first social media that encourages their users to move, by dancing.

       @stefano I agree with you wholeheartedly. Unfortunately,most, if not all, FOSS maintainers does not have luxury to have Windows and macOS machines.I don't know what the the best solution here. Probably, pick programming language that can distribute your software natively in multiple OS.
