I have never found a set of configuration tools twice. As far as I an tell they're generated on demand by the Microsoft troubleshooting website and seamlessly downloaded to my computer before I can run them

@RussellsBarbershopQuartet this article singlehandedly changed my mind about cybernetic enhancements in general. my claim: apple did this because they didn't want it to be usable while plugged in. if it was usable plugged in, people would leave it plugged in all the time and peoples associations would be "oh yeah it has a cable hanging off it." making it so it has to be unplugged in order to be used reinforces the feel of it as a wireless, magic object.
