@itzpaquet @isotopp @BenBen @jwildeboer @brunomiguel Post scarcity is when you can automate production enough so that you do not need humans to run it. In many areas we are already there. In others it needs more time. It has to be #post_capitalism because #capitalism needs scarcity to work and will create artificial #scarcity when needed.Personally I find #UBI to be a very interesting possibility. It has also been tested around the world.

@Shamlon Just so that you know.. there is a Mastodon compatible service called Pixelfed that is like Instagram. Which means that people on Mastodon can follow your account on Pixelfed.

I have been here since pretty much the beginning. I was here before you could migrate. I have seen all the controversies. I have seen it grow. I have lately been contemplating if I should migrate or not. Have never really tried it... but is not easy because damn this has been my home for the last ~5+ years.

@guillaumelegoy @cfiesler I have created two feeds. One is my home feed and the other a curated list feed (roughly 10-20 peeps). I put the extra interesting people in the curated list. That way I never miss an important post.

@MeraOrd Skulle nog satsa på en AMD5-baserad. Inte HP då i princip alla sånna jag handskats med krånglat. Lenovo Thinkpads är säkert okej... eller har i alla fall varit det. ASUS har jag för mig också är rätt bra.

@thor Not even a @mycroft_ai? which is a FOSS variant that works offline. 😋 But you are right... Imagine having a gesture enabled TV in the bed room? It is crazy what people allow nowadays. Personally I am not as adamant about this stuff as I was just some years ago. Still I try to stay off the silos as much as possible.
