       @simon your conclusion is spot on. Large language models are great at imitating working systems. What we need is an entirely different #ML model that processes data properly. Place that behind a language model and we’re on to something that will be useful. But on it’s own this is just a bizarre game.

       I hate that every useful application (Dropbox, Zoom, Zencastr, etc) wants to be an all-encompassing platform. Just stop. Make your core product great, charge for it, and get out of the way.

       @aral @morrick @zbrando Not at all trying to defend this indefensible cowardice, but state dinners typically have assigned seating that is very strictly determined by the host. I could imagine the White House putting Cook next to Bolsonaro as a provocation or warning.
