@sukapon Very cool. What you can do is just look at the furthest left part of the equations.E.g. for A = 2 you would have 04 for the first digits of the result, from this you know that the only possible value for E is 1 (if you carry over 7) and get 11.You can continue that for all all 10 values of A and get 8 pairs (0 and 1 you can exclude immediately). If you then look at the other side of the equation you can immediately exclude all but two of those pairs and of them another one can be excluded by substituting 9 for the remaining variables (even then the result of the multiplication is less than the desired result). And this would have been fairly fast IF I HADN'T CALCULATED SEVEN TIMES SEVEN TO BE 42 AND EXCLUDED THAT POSSIBILITY RIGHT AT THE START. Retardation really hitting hard.

@riamu @Turdicus @Morghur @Morris @WoodshopHandman DNA is not "chilling in your brain", I don't even know what that would mean. Trace amounts of it being found somewhere in your body is literally " so what" tier, based on their effects on you.(Besides, the idea of past sexual partners influencing future children is absurd on its face)

@Eris @jeffcliff @5th_level_druid @Crankenstein @D00B @Hyolobrika @LorgarAurelian1488 @crunklord420 @mushroom_soup But this is only the case if you were to make that very silly mistake, which obviously negates the thing you want to measure. There totally are unbiased things you could track. E.g. numbers of residencies with access to internet, total number of mobile plan users and certainly much more.At the same time you can do extrapolation, even if you lack data from certain areas, e.g. by comparing total internet traffic from a region.I don't think anybody claims these numbers are totally accurate, but, unless someone was really stupid, they should be within a few percentage points of the true result.

@jeffcliff >ie the nazi mathematicians might warrant a second lookHave you heard the story about Techmüller, a (no doubt) dedicated Nationalsocialist (even before it was cool)? He famously denounced Landau, not just in writing, but to his face, concerning his teaching of Analysis. His contention was that the teaching of those basic subjects inherently shapes the "geistliche Einstellung" (literally orientation of the mind) and is not merely educational and because of that he reasoned that Aryan students shouldn't be taught by Jewish teachers. On another note there was a certain strain of German mathematics denouncing "abstract" mathematics as "talmudic", but that never seemed to get anywhere. Although, and this us just my personal perception, it seems Jews in mathematics tend to be less highly distributed among the applied mathematicians.

@Hyolobrika @catgirl The statement is totally meaningless and exposes the concept of "human rights" for the absurdity it is. There are two possible interpretations:- Trans people are humans and as such have some certain "human rights" (self evidently true, but nobody means that)- Special rights for transsexuals are "human rights". This statement is plainly false. You can check the "UN" "declaration" "on" "human rights" to figure this out.As such the concept of "human rights" becomes utter nonsense, because nobody *can* define what they are and figuring out if something is a "human right" is impossible. What they mean is "I want special rights" (which really just means, "give me power"), which is just as narcissistic as it sounds, and therefore is being clad in propaganda speech.

@Hyolobrika @catgirl From another reply:- right to be officially recognized as their actual gender- right to have a name matching their gender- not getting discriminated or hatecrimed for their gender- easy access to any gender affirming healthcare: I don't think a cis guy who loses his dick in a car accident has to fight as hard for phalloplasty as a trans guy- not getting groped more than cis people at airport security: the scanners don't know anything besides cis man and cis woman, so pre-surgery trans women will cause an alarm with either their boobs or their dick because the machine can't handle both, because the designers completely ignored the existence of trans peopleFind where this is the UN declaration of human rights.

@catgirl @Hyolobrika >we aren’t protected from stabbings.Peak narcissism. Nobody is protected from stabbings. The existence of a particular legal defense is beyond irrelevant on that subject matter anyway. *Anything* can be a legal defense.Anybody can claim to be "temporarily insane" for any reason whatsoever, you can claim to be "temporarily insane" when you stab someone misgendering you. So what? Who cares? In the end this has nothing to do with *being stabbed* it is about prosecuting the person stabbing you.

@Hyolobrika @catgirl There are two mutually exclusive possibilities.Either it is a self evidently true statement or a obviously false statement. Also there is NOTHING in the UN declaration of human rights saying that someone who stabbed someone is not allowed to claim temporal insanity. So I have no idea what the post you linked might have to do with this.

@Hyolobrika @catgirl The opinion expressed is either banal or false. In any case, you have shown nothing that would suggest it is the former. Because the former is *by definition* fulfilled.

@ikumiyakovna Of course you can that's the entire point.Buy/rent server, buy/rent domain name and then run the software.Or have the above mentioned done for you.

@ikumiyakovna @kreischer I am sure you could do it for a few bucks a month. You can get a cheap domain name and some basic VPS, that should be enough for a single user instance. In theory you can even do it from your home, without a VPS (exposing your residential IP address). In any case it requires a good bit of sysadmin/Linux knowledge and if you don't want to do that you have to pay someone to do it.If certain w*men can manage to do it, so can you, although inevitably it will be an investment.

@WashedOutGundamPilot @merchantHelios That thing really is not 3D printed though. It almost certainly is solid metal, painted yellow. The point "Wu" makes is that it is nonsense to legislate 3D printers or drones if you can easily commit terrorist attacks through train derailings. Which I don't think is entirely sound, since certainly two things can be bad at once.

@WashedOutGundamPilot @merchantHelios >I'd say it's most likely that the tweet was someone trying to make a point and sound funnyIts Naomi Wu though. A literal w*men, """tech enthusiasts""" and NFT porn pioneer.>regarding printers and plansBut its not about 3D printing. Probably you can print such a derailer and *maybe* it could work, but nobody even suggested any connection between a 3D printer and such a derailer. Also, a thick stick probably is far more effective, I suspect the PLA or PETG gets shredded extremely easily and nothing would happen. If there ever is regulation regarding 3D printers it will be because of 3D printed guns. That is a FAR better talking point than printing basically off the shelf industry items, replaceable by a stick.

@TheVeryLutheranHousewife @CumskinFoidPuncher69420 @Hibou @becassine @Leaflord @The_Quantum_Alpha @parker @ooignignoktoo You can look at the exif data on both accounts. Of the images I looked at, all were taking with the exact same phone model (https://m.gsmarena.com/asus_zenfone_max_plus_(m1)_zb570tl-8953.php) seems quite unlikely that two people use the exact same 4 year old budget smartphone.Additionally both claim to be academics and technically competent, yet there are posts such as these: "My personal 5 PB server just hard crashed.. 😕The reason was the recording ceased at a perfect floating point byte array number that exceeded the processor's buffer limit.. :blobcatdizzy2: :blobcatnerd:Chances that this happens! :blobcatlaugh:I will unfortunately have to format this specific disk plate entirely, as nothing else will solve this 😔"I literally have no idea what this means. What is a "byte array number", what is a "floating point byte array" (floats are not a byte long, this is nonsense) or a "processors buffer limit". Why would this crash anything? Why would it corrupt the ""disk plate"" to the extent that it is unrecoverable? And why does someone have a private 5PB server? What could you possibly do with that?Seems like techno babble to me.Additionally you have the image of just random formulas on his profile background. Who does that?If I had to guess, mental illness.

@graf @CumskinFoidPuncher69420 @Hibou @becassine @Leaflord @The_Quantum_Alpha @parker @TheVeryLutheranHousewife @ooignignoktoo Exactly. It is totally absurd and I don't even know why anyone would claim to have that.At least someone who would be technically competent would claim something realistic...

@becassine I mean this is already pretty much gaslighting, as measuring "living standards" as some kind of excess productivity, is already absurd. In reality the amount of plastic toys from China is not what is making people live meaningful and fulfilled lives.
