@feld @gvs cross-instance capabilities of the app relies on being able to search of statuses before applying an action on it (favorite/boost/etc), and this isn't working in 2.3.0 anymore (reported here: https://git.pleroma.social/pleroma/pleroma/-/issues/2566 )

@af indeed. But I also provide a slow mode for people that want to fetch it manually. Don't generalize needs from some kind of users to all of them, for example not having auto-updates would break completely my own usages: I mostly consume my TL in a passive way, doing something else in the same time. I just let the app in a side of my screen and look to it time to time. The whole UI/UX is made with this usage in mind.

@af no problem! Questioning UX and the effect it has is more than necessary and healthy. But I'm not convinced about the auto-update issue, but surely we don't have the same usages, I never had FOMO on social media because I'm not following stuff I don't wanna miss (if I do, I create lists/follow RSS/etc) and I'm always a bit surprised when I read about it or thing related to it (addiction, etc). I will give some thoughts on it.

#Sengi 1.1.4 is out! 🎉 It's a small fix but the bug it crushes is a huge relief for me. For a very long time Sengi could sometime mess up the user's handle when replying to people. And it was not reproductible. And very rare. Maybe you never seen this bug but if you had, I finally found out how to reproduce it and it has been fixed! 😄 #mastodon #pleroma #client #app

@mike feel free to open issues on the most important features you need (and describe how you're using it). 😉 I don't administrate big instances, so I have no idea of the most frequent actions an admin does (and it's important to have good insight to provide good UX).

@mmu_man L'UI web a aussi des hotkeys, c'est pas incompatible. 🙂 Electron c'est juste pour ceux qui veulent, Sengi est surtout une webapp avant tout. Pour le raccourci, c'est comme tout, un peu de travail mais pas insurmontable, mais visiblement @lienrag se propose pour s'y coller alors ça me va. 😶 (ouvrez une nouvelle issue sur la question, ça permettra au moins de poser les touches/comportements qui seraient intéressant d'utiliser)
