@paradroyd @duhproject @sanxion Bombsquad was great. I picked it up on the Mac App Store awhile back but haven't really played it yet. Gonna have to figure out how to make the Macbook a 4-controller game party machine I guess :)

@duhproject @paradroyd @sanxion maybe b/c it's all a custom engine, part of which the dev has open sourced (https://github.com/efroemling/ballistica) and according to his roadmap there are plans to port to other platforms, just no timeline :)

@paradroyd @duhproject @sanxion There was an interview with the developer (I think this one https://web.archive.org/web/20130826133209/http://dayoftheouya.com/an-interview-with-bombsquad-creator-eric-froemling/) where he talks about modeling all the levels and characters in clay initially. I think there are some pictures of them on his blog somewhere.
