@interfluidity The way to understand this is that people generally have defaulted to not care, even if a problem can be solved, and out glorious leaders are no exception. Funny, really. In germany, we had a racist asshole writing a book about germany giving itself up. Now, humanity is giving itself up, for real. Thinking long term, a reset might be a good idea. There are harmful patterns ingrained on all of us, i am no exception.

@interfluidity To look back, we would need a general capacity to process information. Is that capability likely to persist? I read something about young people automatically skipping LLM content... so maybe, but with some new trauma i guess? Uncanny Valley - Something that looked like a human so much but was dangerous that it was evolutionary favorable to fear it... are we the second iteration?
